In this role you will provide value adding medical support to sales and marketing, innovation and external customers by balancing the risks and benefits from the perspective of healthcare professionals, consumers, patients, regulatory agencies and the company.

  • Provide high-quality medical and scientific advice for existing brands/products;
  • Medically evaluate new product opportunities;
  • Identify data gaps and work collaboratively across the company to provide solutions;
  • Establish relationships with key external stakeholders;
  • Provide timely and quality medical information for medical enquiries;
  • Manage risk and provision of medical guidance.

Job Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position you must have at least 4 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs, and able to demonstrate the following: 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical, Pharmacy, or Life Science
  • Solid understanding of advertising/promotional regulatory/code requirements (e.g. Medicines Australia, TGAC, ASMI)
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research, review and interpret scientific/technical data
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship building skills - ability and confidence to interact with a wide range of external customers
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise competing demands and meet strict deadlines
  • Think analytically and provide creative solutions to problems
  • Current drivers licence is essential in order to undertake ad hoc travel as and when required to assist sales field force
