Due to an internal promotion we have a unique opportunity for an experienced candidate to join our Business Development (BD) team as our Head of Business Development and Commercial Partnerships. This team is essentially engaged with business partners to oversee our strategic partnerships, covering hospital and retail settings to optimise the value of Roche’s Established Business Unit's portfolio. Experience in Business Development and B2B engagement in the pharmaceutical industry will be looked upon favourably.

 

In your role as the Head of Business Development and Commercial Partnerships, you will:

  • Develop and drive Business Development strategy and planning.
  • Manage, direct and coach the Business Development team.
  • Utilise multichannel approaches to Business Development.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Strategic Account Manager Head, Assoc. Marketing Director & the Director of Established Business Unit to maximise business development opportunities for EBU Brands.
  • Identify and lead new partnering opportunities with strategic partnering manager.
  • Interact with Roche regional and global teams.

 

The position sits in the Established Business unit but represents all Roche brands where appropriate. The role includes oversight of strategic partnerships and has direct responsibility for our relationship with key customers. An understanding of biologics and biosimilars is an advantage.
