Roche, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, has a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join our organisation. You will play a key role in effectively developing and implementing best-in-class innovative procurement strategies and plans that optimise return on investment. You will provide effective and meaningful business partner support to ensure Roche achieves its objectives.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute procurement category plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide expert, strategic procurement advice to stakeholders and use your knowledge and insights to influence project directions/key decisions.
  • Lead the pipeline of procurement projects to deliver value to the business.
  • Act as a trusted procurement business partner by proactively driving stakeholder relationships to deepen business insights and influence.
  • Manages projects through the end to end procurement cycle to completion, setting appropriate supplier relationship programs for key suppliers as required.
     

Your passion for procurement and providing effective support to your colleagues and the business will see you thrive in this position. You should be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a business/commerce or related field and have previous experience in an end-to-end indirect procurement environment. Pharmaceutical experience, whilst not necessary, will be looked upon with high regard.

You have a background working in a large global or multinational organization across a broad range of categories and be familiar with procurement processes. Your strong commercial acumen and communication skills will see you succeed as an effective business partner. In addition, you will be a strong influencer, negotiator and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
