Clinical Specialist - Multiple roles across New South Wales

Pharmaceutical & Medical Professionals, a Healthcare Professionals Group business are currently recruiting for:

Multiple Clinical Specialist positions in areas of Electrophysiology; Cardiac Rhythm Management and Neuromodulation.

The Opportunities:

  • Clinical Specialist / Field Technical Specialist - Electrophysiology and Cardiac Rhythm Management (EP: CRM) - 2 Roles - Full Time - Sydney + Regional NSW travel

  • Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager will provide technical expertise at implant/follow up and troubleshooting, support to clinicians at Electrophysiology (EP) cases, Pacemaker and ICD clinics, and the Territory Managers.

  • Clinical Specialist / Field Technical Specialist - Neuromodulation - 1 role - Part Time - 3 days a week
    • Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will provide technical expertise at implant/follow up and troubleshooting, and support to clinicians and Neuromodulation Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Education to ensure personal levels of technical competence are at the highest standard.
  • Initiate a method of ongoing communication to all Territory Managers and other personnel ensuring your expertise and theirs is shared by all.
  • Shared account management and ownership, in consultation with the Territory Manager
  • Liaising with Territory Management re promotion, product, therapies, service and support.
  • Provide procedure support; and post-operative support
  • Maintain technical competency through training and education including knowledge of therapies and procedures.
  • Complete monthly reports as required
  • Provide market feedback on product and competitor activity.
  • This role does require on-call responsibilities
  • Have a sound understanding of, and comply with, the industry (MTAA) the SJM Code of Conduct and Company Compliance requirements
  • Handle and document customer complaints

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the clinical support of medical devices and ability to demonstrate a high degree of technical capability.
  • Previous EP and/or CRM experience
  • Completion of SJM CRM & EP product certification
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong & clear verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suites ie Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Tertiary qualifications in biomedical / engineering / medical science / human movement or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential.
  • SJM Low and High Voltage Product Certification
